Plot: It takes place in an ancient monastic hermitage - Dohiariu, located on the west coast of Mount Athos, a peninsula in the Aegean Sea declared an Autonomous Monastic Republic and exclusively used by Eastern Orthodox monasticism. The phenomena of nature intertwine harmoniously in the continuous cycle of work and prayer, aligning themselves in a rhythmic relationship between man and nature, thus hinting at the heaven for which we all yearn from the depths of our souls. But the gem of this splendid Byzantine landscape is the monks themselves, whose warmth and authenticity have been captured by pulling back the curtain that shrouds the daily monastic life, where each one has their own joys, hopes, and weaknesses. By inviting the film's producers into their environment, the monks hope to stir in each viewer the memory of their own environment. The protagonist of the film is the abbot of the monastery - Abbot Gregory, whose accumulated spiritual experience has endowed him with profound knowledge of the human soul and its longing to return to the state of Adam's human nature before the fall into sin
