Plot: When a fiercely competitive 30 year old rower fails to make the Olympic boat for the second time, she takes a coaching job at a school but struggles to adjust to life off the race course.
Alternative Plot: Failing to make the Olympic rowing team, a young woman (Sarah Megan Thomas) moves back in with her widowed mother and takes a job as a crew coach at her former high school.
