Plot: A shabby appearance and an equally bad complexion are only a few issues the antisocial and delusional high-school tomboy, Pauline, has to deal with. Struggling for attention and acceptance, the otherwise ordinary schoolgirl is suffering from the typical problems of her age, including the constant mother/daughter conflicts, the search for the perfect boyfriend, and the loss of her virginity. And, as if that weren't enough, troubled Pauline's feverishly grotesque fantasies and her thing for haemophilia have made her the school's pariah. Under those circumstances, who would blame Pauline for longing to be her little sister's hero? After all, it won't be that hard; all it takes is a dash of determination and a steady hand. Can Pauline rid herself of the sickness?
Alternative Plot: An outcast teenager (AnnaLynne McCord) practices surgical skills and has weird, and increasingly violent, psychosexual fantasies.
