Plot: Sent to Rome to find his wealthy playboy friend, Philippe Greenleaf, and return him to his family in San Francisco, the charming but poor intellectual, Tom Ripley, is promised $5,000 on delivery. However, both Philippe and his beautiful girlfriend, Marge, have no intention of renouncing the dolce vita, and as the couple sails toward Sicily accompanied by Tom, it soon becomes evident that three is a crowd. Now, greed, envy, and lust are starting to take over, and there is more to Tom than meets the eye. To what extremes can one go to get a slice of luxury?
