Plot: Charley Pearl is a millionaire who is engaged to the daughter of the owner of movie studio. When he and his friends go to Las Vegas for his bachelor party, they stop at bar. And there's a singer named Vicky whom Charley can't keep his eyes off. They try to get her to join them but they learn that she's the girl of Bugsy Siegel. Charley sends them without him and he goes to her. Later they're caught by Siegel and he then makes Charley marry her. Later the girl he was about to marry finds out about it and freaks out, she gives him time to extricate himself from Vicky and when he does, they plan to get married. But by chance he runs into Vicky and they hook up again and get married again. But later split up. And later meet again.
Alternative Plot: Charley Pearl (Alec Baldwin), wealthy heir and gadabout, is slated to marry Adele (Elisabeth Shue), the daughter of a Hollywood tycoon (Robert Loggia). But, during a wild bachelor party in Las Vegas, Charley strikes up a flirtation with nightclub crooner Vicki Anderson (Kim Basinger) that soon leads to her bedroom. When the couple are discovered by Vicki's beau, infamous gangster Bugsy Siegel (Armand Assante), he makes a surprising pronouncement -- they'd better marry, or Charley is a dead man.
