Plot: Having spent many years in the police force, Detective Dooley, finally retiring. Although his colleagues organized an unforgettable farewell party, he was not particularly happy free time that awaits him. Alternative Plot: Finally ready to settle into a relaxing retirement, police Detective Mike Dooley (James Belushi) and his trusty dog, Jerry Lee, inadvertently find themselves in the middle of a robbery investigation -- as suspects. With his pension now frozen until his name is cleared, Dooley is back on the case with Jerry to find the real criminals. However, since he's a suspect of an FBI investigation and therefore unable to access his old police resources, Dooley has to get creative.
