Plot: As Greece braces herself for a long and turbulent period of intolerable uncertainty, distressing insecurity, and relentless economic decline, two polar opposites have a chance encounter. On the one hand, the streetwise intellectual and failed director, Diomedes, is forced to do odd jobs to make ends meet, while, on the other hand, the meek office drone and unfortunate cuckold, Aristides, finds himself--just like that--penniless, jobless, and without a wife. Now, the two embittered pariahs join forces against an invisible but all-powerful enemy, meandering through the picturesque, and, sometimes, lonely summer landscapes of the rugged Greek province, in search of a vision, and, maybe, redemption. On the road in a mournful hearse, both travellers of the unknown crave for closure and a glorious life-altering change. Will they ever find their magic hour?
Alternative Plot: An epiphany sends a Greek cuckold on a road trip through the countryside with a desk clerk who moonlights as an undertaker.
