Plot: When the honest and idealistic policeman Chris Anderson meets the gorgeous and sexy, but alcoholic and drug addicted Pam in a bar, they date and have great sex. Chris immediately falls in love for Pam and marries her, but the reckless and emotionally unbalanced wife brings troubles to his relationship with his family and spends her credit card in futilities, leading the couple to financial problems. When Chris loses his job in the police department, he concludes that they are insolvent and decides to heist banks to resolve their financial issues.
Alternative Plot: Chris (Luke Perry) and Pam (Ashley Judd) have nothing in common. He's a strait-laced police officer, and she's an unstable drug addict. Still, the two fall in love and quickly marry. But Pam's taste for expensive items nearly drives the couple into bankruptcy. Things are made even worse when Chris loses his job as a cop. Taking up work as a bank security guard, Chris decides to use the skills he learned as a policeman to rob banks, hoping that he can finally have enough money to make Pam happy.
