The Gypsy Moths (1969)

Plot: On a 4th of July weekend, three barnstorming skydivers arrive to perform in a small Kansas town. They are hosted by the youngest member Webson's aunt, the unhappily married Elizabeth. While Browdy one-nights with a topless dancer, a doomed romance flares up between Elizabeth and Rettig. Tension builds, and explodes with a spectacular skydiving show.

Alternative Plot: Three men who work in a skydiving performance group -- burned-out Mike (Burt Lancaster), outgoing showman Joe (Gene Hackman) and rookie Malcolm (Scott Wilson) -- find work in a small Kansas town and lodging at the home of Malcolm's Uncle John (William Windom) and Aunt Elizabeth (Deborah Kerr). The couple are in the midst of a marital crisis, and when Elizabeth meets the dashing Mike, everyone is surprised by their passionate and dangerous love affair.
