Plot: Dr. Liz Manners is a Philadelphia based radio call-in therapist. She also dedicates much of her time to philanthropy, namely a women's shelter, for which she and her colleagues are trying to raise $300,000 to open a new shelter. Although she believed she was in a solid marriage, she eventually learns that her businessman husband, Rob Manners, is having an affair, as he feels overshadowed by her and her work, that inferiority exacerbated by financial issues. Before their marital problems surfaced, Rob and Liz had dinner with one of his potential new investors, James Stratton. In reality, Stratton is Kyle Lundstrom and is the husband of one of Liz's radio callers, Sarah Jane Lang. Kyle blames Liz not only for the breakdown of his marriage because of her advice to Sarah Jane, but also for her death. Kyle's abuse of and control over Sarah Jane, combined with Liz's advice, led to Sarah Jane trying to escape from him, when she was accidentally killed. As such, sociopathic Kyle is stalking Liz and Rob, which includes bugging their house. His ultimate goal, using the information gleaned from those recorded conversations, is for her to feel the pain he experienced in losing Sarah Jane, and in the process ruin her life. He will stop at nothing, including manipulation and murder, to achieve his goal.
Alternative Plot: A radio psychologist (Alexandra Paul) meets a handsome stranger (William Moses) who, unbeknown to her, is plotting against her.
