Plot: A comedy about a cheating husband (Ray Liotta) and an injured high school football star (Shaun Sipos) who become court ordered roommates. Emotional carnage leads to unlikely alliances, as the two men scramble for a second chance at love and stardom.
Alternative Plot: Married suburbanite father Walter Pearce (Ray Liotta) admits to a marital indiscretion and is thrown out of the house by his wife, Deborah (Glenne Headly). Meanwhile, recently injured high school quarterback Skylar (Shaun Sipos) is arrested for drinking -- and finds Walter, who was arrested for fighting, in the same cell. When Walter's daughter, Christine (Brooke Nevin), suggests that Walter move in with Skylar, the unlikely pair set out to make amends for their past misdeeds.
