Plot: The last worshiper of God Rapu, Gorr, crosses the desert with his daughter that dies of thirsty and starvation. He reaches an oasis and sees Rapu that mistreats Gorr. The powerful Necrosword chooses Gorr that beheads Rapu and he promises to kill all the gods. Thor and the Guardians of the Galaxy are fighting Sif and Dr. Jane Foster is under treatment of a stage IV cancer on Earth. When Gorr kidnaps all the children of New Asgard, Thor, Jane Foster with Mjolnir, King Valkyrie and Korg go to the Omnipotence City to ask Zeus to join an army of gods to fight Gorr, but Zeus don't care to his request. Now the quartet needs to fight Gorr to rescue the children and avoid the God Butcher from reaching the Etenity gate
Alternative Plot: "Thor: Love and Thunder" finds Thor (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he's ever faced -- a quest for inner peace. But his retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi) and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who -- to Thor's surprise -- inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher's vengeance and stop him before it's too late.
