Plot: It's been a tough year for the immortal bloodsucker, Count Dracula, after the events in Hotel Transylvania 2 (2015), and Puppy (2017), and now, the lonely and stressed-out grandfather needs a vacation. Under those circumstances, a luxurious cruise along with Mavis, Jonathan, Dennis, and the Carpathian resort's friendly monster-friends, may help the overworked hotelier blow off some steam, and, perhaps, find love in the person of the ocean liner's vivacious human captain, Ericka. However, are things always what they seem? Will Dracula get a second chance at love?
Alternative Plot: Your favorite monster family boards a luxury cruise ship so Dracula can take a summer vacation from the hotel. It's smooth sailing for the pack as they indulge in all of the fun the cruise has to offer, including monster volleyball, exotic excursions and catching up on their moon tans. But the dream vacation soon turns into a nightmare when Mavis realizes Drac has fallen for the mysterious captain of the ship, Ericka, who hides a dangerous secret that could destroy them all.
