Plot: Against the backdrop of a sweltering August in Athens, Greece, the lives of six perfect strangers become inextricably intertwined through three intersecting stories. In the first segment, lonely pensioner Aleka is intrigued by her young neighbour Elli, thirsty for companionship. Is she prepared for a welcome surprise? Then, under unfavourable conditions, retired seafarer Nikolas has a chance encounter with Maria at a train station. Can sad Nikolas handle change? Finally, artistic, touch-starved bank employee Lefteris takes pleasure in flirting with an unknown, sweet-voiced female admirer over the phone. However, how far is Lefteris willing to go in the name of newfound love??
